The Aurora Play by Vaporesso is quite similar to the Zippo lighter in terms of the flicking sound and the form factor. This Zippo inspired pod system is provided with quite an interesting design. When you open the cap, a hinge is seen, giving you the choice of making the cap remain intact in its place with minimal resistance or absolutely no resistance. This implies that the top lid can be flipped around with ease.

The logo of Vaporesso Aurora Play is presented on the side of the top cap wherein it has been laser edged. You can view the capacity of the e-liquid from the window which is featured on the right side just below the cap.

The device is a tad bit heavy since it is constructed from metal. However, you will not find any fingerprints on it owing to the matte finish it is provided with. Furthermore, the metal gives a quite luxurious feel.

This Pod Starter Kit is compatible with free base, nicotine salts and CBD. The capacity of e-liquid it allows is around 2ml. A 1.3-ohm ceramic coil or ccell forms part of the device. Features of the AURORA PLAY

1. The Zippo-Like Design is Actually Classy

The Vaporesso Aurora Play AIO, while being quite similar to the original Aurora AIO in design offers a more striking and fine-tuned look. Provided with the shape of a Zippo lighter, it has flip top and a lot other appealing features such as rounded edges. The rounded borders make it comfortable for you to hold the unit while imparting a premium feel. You can get the unit in four colors, all of which give it quite a sophisticated look.

2. The OMNI Board Mini Chipset

The OMNI board mini offers a lot of benefits, such as ample safety protections and quick charging. Owing to the 1A charging, the unit does not take more than 45 minutes to charge to its full capacity.

3. The CCELL Integrated Coil Options of the Pods

The Vaporesso Aurora Play AIO system features pods that have CCELL coil integrated into them. These Vaporesso's CCELL coils offer satisfactory performance as they use porous ceramic instead of the commonly used cotton wicking material. Thus, the rate of wicking is faster than the conventional coils. They also require less breaking in time.

Two options are provided. The kit includes the 1.3 ohm MTL pod which is compatible with nicotine salts. However, you can also opt for a separate pod for freebase nicotine liquids with 0.65-ohm resistance. The latter can be fired up to 20W if you want a profound experience.

4. The Top Filling System

Most pods feature the filling port at the bottom. Thus, the port has to be removed from the device and flipped upside down before you can fill it. The design of this Aurora Play AIO pod is marginally different as the filling port is present at the top of the device. Thus, pushing the dripper into the port is all that you need to do, ensure that the port opens up before filling. This allows quicker filling with fewer hassles.

5. The Power Button

Apart from activation via a draw, the unit also features a power button. Thus, when you are not using the device, you can turn it off by clicking on the button five times and save the power of the battery.

6. Quick Charge

The device is powered by a built-in battery with 650mAh capacity. While it's nothing too impressive, it is sufficient to last for a whole day if you vape moderately. For excessive vaping, it will have to be recharged once a day. However, this is not an issue as the unit features pass-thru charging allowing it to be charged in 45 minutes.
